Was chingados ist Mezcal?
In Aztec mythology, Mayahuel, the goddess of fertility came to Earth to provide humankind with happiness. She died tragically, but from her remains sprouted the first agave plants. For this reason the distilled product of cooked, fermented agave is considered the sacred drink from the gods -and Mayahuel’s final gift: Mezcal.
It’s been made in Mexico for more than 400 years and owes a large part of its flavours to the rustic processes still used to this day in its development; a large conical pit is dug in the soil which will act as the oven that slow-roasts the piña -also known as the agave’s heart, if you want to be weird about it. It is then fermented and distilled in copper stills or clay pots, depending on the family’s technique.
Produced in small batches around different villages of southern México, each Mezcal will carry a distinctive flavour.

Back in simpler times, long before Trump would be president, Uschi met a los Mexicanos Dany and Beto while exploring the mean streets of Tijuana. That warm night, they found a seedy bar on Calle Revolución and talked at length about life while cementing their friendship over their love of good food, good music and good drink.
Many moons later, the three are now in Europe and fucked-off at the shitty tacos and lame choice of mezcal. Reminiscing about days long gone, they decided to do something about it.
They set up el Feo.
